Initial Application for OOS Institution for Multiple Programs  Program Description

Grand Canyon University, a university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, is seeking approval to offer 26 online programs that contain an internship, practica, clinical field experiences or student teaching component as part of the curriculum. The university, founded in 1949, is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Private Postsecondary Education and authorized to operate in 13 states. Grand Canyon University prepares learners to become global citizens, critical thinkers, effective communicators and responsible leaders by providing an academically challenging, values-based curriculum from the context of their Christian heritage. The curriculum is designed to prepare students with skills and knowledge needed in the contemporary job market.
